In short
The Inno Message REST API uses bearer-token authentication. Create a scoped API token in Settings → Developers, send it in the Authorization header over HTTPS, and keep it on your server. Rate limits depend on your plan: 100 requests per minute on Starter, 500 on Growth, 2,000 on Business and custom on Enterprise.
Create a token
- Open Settings → Developers → API tokens and select New token.
- Give it a name and only the scopes the integration needs.
- Copy the token once and store it in your secret manager.
Call the API
curl https://api.innomessage.com/v1/channels \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $TOKEN"
Rate limits
Limits are per workspace: Starter 100 requests/minute, Growth 500, Business 2,000, Enterprise unlimited by agreement. A 429 response means you should wait and retry with backoff.
Keep tokens safe
- Never put tokens in browser or mobile code.
- Use a separate token per integration so you can revoke one without affecting others.
- Rotate tokens when staff with access leave.
